Life Update: Graduating from Law School

You may or may not know this, but at the beginning of July 2019 I finally graduated from law school.

I just can’t believe I have made it after five years of long, hard work. Getting a Master’s Degree feels like a big achievement I’ve been wanting ever since I was a child.

It does feel like most children don’t like to go to school when they are little, and that doesn’t really change when they grow up either. It wasn’t like that for me at all growing up. I’ve always loved going to school and learning new things.

Don’t get me wrong, not all subjects were as fun to learn or study, but the overall vibe of going to school was something I enjoyed. Yes I complained every now and then, but looking back at it, I did have the time of my life.

In high school, I got to study drama thanks to the support of my family. It was then that I learned a lot about myself and decided to continue my education by going to law school.

Honestly, I had no idea if I would even be able to make it at all since my drama education in high school had less theory lessons than other educations.

I’m so happy for the student and teachers during the information days who told me that you didn’t need a specific prior knowledge to be able to study law. All you need is to really want it, be interested in law and be able to study hard. After five years I agree, that was enough for me to make it and graduate from law school (that, and being somewhat intelligent).

This feels als a first milestone in my life, and I’m very pleased to have achieved it at age 22.

All I wanted to do with this post was to share my happiness with the world and cement how I feel about this so I can look back on this whenever I’m feeling down or feeling like a failure.

Curious to see what’s next in life for me? Make sure to follow my blog to get more updates! 😉

Lots of love,
